The Revolutionary Party of Arriola (Catalan: Partido Revolucionario de Arriola, PRA) is the dominant part in the Republic of Arriola. The party has transcended the line between Communism and Socialist of the Marxist-Leninist model, but is officially seen as Socialist. Since the July Revolution the constitution has described the role of the Party to be the "leading force of society and of the state." The Party has held power uninterrupted since 1953, and has won every election continiously since elections began in 1974.
