During his tenure as the Prime Minister of Okaiken, he was also the leader of the Honda clan, a prominent family that controlled Mitoyagi from 1605 until 1871 when his grandfather, Honda Yoshinobu, was ousted from power by the Saito Emperor. During his short tenure as the Prime Minister, he was called "shogun" due to his aggressive economic policies as well as his strict implementation of several social platforms. | ||||||||
